B37 - Project Engineer /Sr. Project Engineer - CAE (FEA with ANSYS Skills)

Key Responsibilities Interact with customers to understand the requirements and the Scope and approach of the project. Pre-processing - Geometry Clean-up in Ansys Space claim, assigning material properties and Preparation of Model including Contacts, loads and boundary conditions in Ansys. Post-processing (Interpretation and discussion of Results)– Validation of results through sanity checks. Comparing the results against acceptance criteria. Design recommendations (if acceptance criteria are not met): Suggest design changes based on the results to meet acceptance criteria or to optimize the design. Peer reviews. Preparation of comprehensive analysis reports. Interact with customers to update/discuss on project status and deliveries and meeting project timelines Skills And Experience Required ME / M Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with Experience: 0 to 6 months BE / B Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with Experience: 6 months to 2 Years Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory and finite element analysis (FEA). Experience of carrying out analysis in ANSYS. Ability to carry out analytical calculations using engineering fundamentals Ability to understand and comprehend requirements, understand operating environment of the component and system, define analysis approach with appropriate loads and boundary conditions, and define appropriate acceptance criteria. Ability to interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations. Good verbal and written communication skills, Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
