About the role

As a Lead FEA Engineer, your role involves leading and supporting FEA projects using ANSYS / ANSYS-Workbench according to customer requirements. You will interface with customers and manage regular project communications with them. Your responsibilities will include obtaining all necessary inputs for assessing components and sub-systems for stress, deformation, vibration, durability, and thermal performance. You will also carry out input reviews, understand requirements and operating environments, and perform linear and non-linear stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic analysis (modal and forced response). Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support FEA projects using ANSYS / ANSYS-Workbench as per customer requirements - Interface with customers and manage regular project communications - Obtain all required inputs for assessing components and sub-systems - Perform linear and non-linear stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic analysis - Define scope, approach, loads, boundary conditions, and acceptance criteria - Carry out analytical calculations and perform sanity checks on analysis results - Interpret analysis results and provide design recommendations - Prepare technical documentation and reports - Communicate effectively with different audiences - Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions - Actively seek self-development opportunities Qualifications Required: - Experience Range: 2 to 4 Years - Educational Qualification: B. Tech/B. E in mechanical engineering (Must), M. Tech/M.E in mechanical system design - Good to have Tool Knowledge: ANSYS Workbench (Mechanical & Design Modeler/Space Claim) - Must, Creo (basic level awareness is required) - Skills: Strong knowledge in strength of material, machine design, engineering mechanics & vibration - FEA Skills: Understanding of load and boundary conditions, experience in modal, static, fatigue Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
