About the role
Role Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer, your role involves applying analytical and experimental approaches to evaluate Engine, sub-system, and component performance and architecture. You will investigate product, system, and technology-related issues in thermal and fluid sciences, taking ownership of problem resolution and recommending appropriate corrective or improvement actions. Your day-to-day project decisions will support successful project progress, and you will independently execute established work processes. Additionally, you will conduct analysis and testing as part of routine project activities, document analysis results and outcomes, and demonstrate ownership and accountability in task execution. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuity and continue to develop technology and product knowledge while working independently and supporting overall team objectives. Your responsibilities may also involve coordinating and guiding work for technicians and technical interns, demonstrating influence within the work group, and collaborating proactively to drive team success. You will address and answer critical engine, sub-system, or component performance questions, prepare technical documentation, and communicate technical information to stakeholders. Your role will also focus on enabling improved technical productivity through clear and actionable documentation, and you should be flexible to travel within and outside Pune.
