Build Finite Element (FE) models using ANSA for full vehicle and subsystem crash analysis. Perform meshing of automotive components as per required quality parameters. Assign materials, thicknesses, and properties as per project and OEM requirements. Create and manage property definitions, including: Shell and solid properties Cross section (beam) definitions Part IDs, PIDs, and material cards Model and integrate connections, including: Spot welds, seam welds, adhesives Bolts, beams, joints, rigid bodies Contact and interface definitions Maintain and update LS DYNA databases, such as: Control cards Contact and boundary conditions Load cases and output requests Perform full vehicle integration for crash simulations using LS DYNA. Understand project requirements and crash simulation scope. Debug modeling and solver errors. Experience and Skills Required: BE / BTech in Mechanical / Automobile / Aerospace Engineering with 4 to 6 years of relevant Experience in full vehicle / subsystem level meshing for Crash Simulation. Decent understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) theory, crash mechanics, and explicit dynamics. Exposure to global crash and safety regulations, including FMVSS and ECE R. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare clear, concise, and structured technical documentation Strong Hands-on Experience with: ANSA Pre processing, meshing, model setup (Mandatory) LS DYNA Crash solver setup and execution Altair HyperWorks Added Advantage Expertise in: 2D meshing (Shell) 3D meshing (Tetra Hexa) Crash modeling, integration and debugging Good skills in MS-office tools.
