S50 - Sr. Systems Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities The role primarily involves Structured Text (IEC 61131-3) programming along with C# application development, database management, and Agile-based software development. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial automation, embedded control systems, and modern software engineering practices. Develop, enhance, and maintain advance Genset control system using Structured Text (IEC 61131-3). Design and develop supporting applications and tools using C# (.NET). Work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and resolve software issues. Design, optimize, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards. Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and software validation. Collaborate using Git with branching, pull requests, and code reviews. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Support software integration, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills and Experience Required: B.E./B. Tech/M.E./MTech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline or MCA / MCS etc. Strong experience in Structured Text (IEC 61131-3) programming. Experience in C#/.NET application development. Strong knowledge of Relational Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL. Experience with NoSQL Databases: DynamoDB, Influx-DB. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in distributed or global development teams. Good to Have Experience in Generator Control Systems, Industrial Automation, PLCs, etc Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Hands-on experience with Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, J1939, or Ethernet/IP. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.
