Senior Node.js Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Node.js Backend Developer with 4+ years of experience in Node.js and server-side technologies to join our growing team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, frontend developers, and product managers to deliver robust, production-ready backend solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side applications and microservices using Node.js. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and third-party systems. Build and manage database schemas, queries, and data models across SQL and NoSQL databases. Ensure backend systems are secure, performant, and scalable. Collaborate with frontend developers to define and document API contracts. Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend and server-side issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions. Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security. Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements to backend architecture and processes.
