About the role
Our client, who operates a vast network of transportation infrastructure spanning the New York City Metropolitan service area, southern portions of New York, Long Island, and segments of New Jersey and Connecticut, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their growing team.
This role will work within a group, who are primarily responsible for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) that manage, monitor, and control the operations of critical infrastructure. Specialized technologies are required to meet safety, performance, security, reliability, and operational requirements, and the Systems Administrator they are seeking will have experience in the following areas:
Required skills:
Virtualization and Infrastructure (Vmware, Virtual Switches)
Vulnerability and Patch Management
Active Directory and Windows Server Administration and Hardening
Knowledge of:
Endpoint Credential Management
Physical Access Control Systems
Data Analysis
Video Management Systems

Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan/Program
BGP, OSPF and Switching (Cisco)
Network Segmentation and Isolation
Cisco ISE/Stealthwatch
Threat Detection and Vulnerability Assessments

Implementing Deception Technology (Honeypot/Honeynets)

Nozomi maintenance and management
