DB Developer

Job Description Experience: 5+ years of experience in database development in SQL Server Strong knowledge in writing stored procedures, triggers and functions. Knowledge in Performance tuning concepts in SQL Server is a must Preferred Industry: e-learning, Retail Position Summary: Will be responsible for handling all the SQL Server development work for the application including enhancements in the current application and Production defects. Responsibilities: Core: Work independently demonstrate complete end to end ownership of the work items Effective communication and co-ordination with other dev teams, QA team and client for day-to-day activities Mentor team members Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, Experimenting self, reading manuals and accessing new applications Flexible enough to adjust to the change in work / technology / Team / etc Primary Deliverables: Write SQL queries, Stored procedures, functions and triggers Performance tuning Create basic SSIS packages and SSRS reports Participate contribute to Special Projects group at AheadRace Any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Manager Domain Expertise / Skills required : Strong knowledge in RDBMS concepts Expertise in writing SQL queries, Stored procedures, functions and triggers Strong knowledge in Performance tuning tools and concepts in SQL Server Knowledge onSSIS and SSRS Competencies Strong Analytical skills Fast learner Eye for Detail Adaptability Team Player Result driven Extra-miler Project Management Qualifications B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech
