About the role
Job Description: Responsibilities Assist in the production and assembly of fabricated machine components. Coordinate with fabrication shops, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of work. Monitor daily production activities and track project progress. Read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM). Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Coordinate welding, machining, cutting, and assembly activities. Prepare production reports and maintain documentation. Follow safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing and assembly issues. Ensure projects are completed within schedule and required quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Freshers are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 13 years of experience in fabrication, machine building, heavy engineering, or manufacturing industries will be preferred. Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, machining, and assembly operations is desirable. Ability to read engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks will be an added advantage. Preferred Skills Understanding of sheet metal fabrication and structural fabrication. Exposure to machine building or industrial equipment manufacturing. Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures. Ability to work closely with technicians, welders, and subcontractors. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
