Senior/Lead Data Scientist

Role Overview: You are being hired as a Senior / Lead Data Scientist to work on an enterprise-grade GenAI chatbot platform that integrates with multiple RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems. Your main responsibilities include designing and building a scalable GenAI chatbot, implementing multi-agent architectures, developing Python services, building and optimizing RAG pipelines, evaluating and improving response quality, integrating Azure OpenAI / OpenAI GPT models, ensuring production readiness, and collaborating with product and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build a scalable GenAI chatbot that orchestrates and calls multiple RAG systems. - Implement multi-agent architectures using frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or similar. - Develop robust Python services/APIs with streaming responses, retries, rate limits, and observability. - Build and optimize RAG pipelines including data ingestion, embeddings, vector indexing, and context management. - Evaluate and improve response quality using offline/online evaluation and feedback loops. - Integrate Azure OpenAI / OpenAI GPT models and manage prompt/versioning strategies. - Ensure production readiness with performance optimization, cost control, monitoring, and secure deployments. - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements and SLAs. Qualification Required: - Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn. - Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs in production. - Strong understanding of Data Science fundamentals and experience building RAG systems. - Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or similar. - Solid software engineering practices including clean architecture, testing, and documentation.
