Key Responsibilities System Review Optimization: Analyse and review current implementations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement to optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability. Integration APIs: Build seamless integrations between Mendix applications, high-code services and other internal / external systems using REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven messaging systems. Code Quality Best Practices: Ensure adherence to coding standards, implement testing strategies, and promote best practices in software development. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation for IT projects, including but not limited to: Functional Specifications (FS) Technical Design Documents (TDD) Data Flow Diagrams, API specifications, and Integration documents Deployment Guides and User Manuals Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks, and drive innovation within the team. Requirements Skills Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in software high-code development. Hands-on experience managing and delivering globalized IT projects across multiple regions in Sourcing and Retail Industry. Experience in reviewing existing implementations, debugging issues, and providing enhancement suggestions. Experience in preparing and maintaining technical and functional documentation. High-Code Development Requirements: Strong programming experience with Node.js, Nest.js, and Python. Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or Solace. Proficiency in microservices design and serverless architectures. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Knowledge of Linux environments, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes for orchestration. Experience with modern DevOps tools for CI/CD, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
