Qa Automation Testing Engineer

Must-Have Skills 5+ years of experience in QA automation testing Hands-on experience with at least one of the following frameworks/tools: Cucumber, Selenium, or Karate Exposure to cloud-based platforms or testing in cloud-hosted environments Ability to write clean, reusable, and scalable test scripts Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and Agile processes Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with performance or security testing concepts Experience with additional test frameworks or automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, JMeter) Understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or Karate Relevant certifications in QA automation or cloud technologies Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, or Karate Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and convert them into test scenarios Execute test suites and log/report defects effectively Support testing of cloud-hosted applications and maintain stable test environments Contribute to optimizing and scaling automation frameworks Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups Perform root cause analysis of test failures and implement corrective actions
