Job Description: You will be part of an exciting transformation program within the Wealth Management industry, where you will have the opportunity to contribute your skills to modernize technology. Initially, your role will involve learning the existing Tango+ products and being involved in extracting functions using SQL from the wealth platform and building document templates. Role Responsibilities: - Participate in a cross-functional delivery team, playing a key role in developing and maintaining product functionality. - Enforce SS&C coding standards and best practices. - Ensure quality by meeting or exceeding unit and integration test code coverage expectations. - Collaborate with testers to develop functional test cases for software quality. - Work with the BA/QA team and internal/external stakeholders to elaborate features and user stories. - Attend client-facing workshops when required. - Assist in technical analysis and investigation tasks with a microservices-focused approach. - Identify high impact software issues and solutions, escalating to Technical Leads and Architects. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development efficiencies. - Participate in all cross-functional team activities such as team planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives. Experience and Skills: Total Experience: 3-12 years Essential: - SQL - C#, VB.NET - .NET Core - Unit Testing - Document databases - Microservices approaches - Knowledge of document composition toolsets like Opentext Exstream, GMC Print Net T, Tango+, Adobe Experience manager Desirable (good to know): - Domain Driven Design - Event Sourcing - Knowledge of financial & investment products including Retirement, Unit Trust, and Pension products Personal Attributes: - Ability to operate independently and communicate microservice principles effectively. - Willingness to learn the existing system to facilitate the transition to a microservices architecture. - Effective collaboration within a cross-functional delivery team and with various stakeholders. - Independent problem-solving skills and leading software solution implementation end-to-end.
