Job Description Job Title: Senior Software Engineer/ Lead Software Engineer Locations : Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore | Hybrid What You Will Get To Do: Take ownership and lead project deliveries through effective cross team collaboration Design, develop, and enhance application components using Progress 4GL / OpenEdge technologies Maintain high standards for code quality, readability, and documentation Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, take accountability of project deliverables Patriciate in project estimations and agile ceremonies Patriciate in solution design discussions with project teams Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and performance You will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, quality assurance and architecture teams for requirements verification and solutioning What You Will Bring: 7+ years of hands-on experience with Progress 4GL / OpenEdge technologies Experience working with Progress Character UI (ChUI) in Unix/Linux environments Experience working in XML and JSON processing in conjunction with REST APIs Familiarity with source control systems such as Git Exposure to enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, SharePoint, and Confluence Solid understanding of SDLC processes, Agile methodologies (SCRUM), and Release/Change Management practices Strong adherence to development standards and industry best practices Familiarity with AI-assisted development and automation concepts, with a keen interest in improving engineering efficiency Experience with Visual Studio Code will be an advantage High level of delivery ownership and accountability Support AI driven technology transformation initiatives Strong written and verbal communication skills Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities Continuous learning mindset with a focus on professional growth Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
