About the role
We are looking for an experienced Application Support and Maintenance professional to support a US-based Healthcare Provider in the Pharmacy domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in healthcare/pharmacy applications, incident management, application maintenance, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application availability, performance, compliance, and smooth operations of pharmacy-related systems. Roles & Responsibilities: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve L2/L3 incidents for COTS healthcare applications while ensuring SLA adherence Perform root cause analysis for recurring application issues and recommend permanent fixes Proactively monitor application health, interfaces, and batch jobs to ensure uninterrupted operations Execute regular maintenance activities including patch validation and upgrades Support change and release management including impact analysis, implementation, testing, and rollback planning Coordinate with business users, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors for issue resolution and escalations Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, SOPs, and audit records Ensure adherence to HIPAA , security standards, and healthcare compliance requirements Support integrations between pharmacy systems, EMR, billing, and inventory applications Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to medication devices, cabinets, pumps, and robotics Required Skills: Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows including dispensing compounding and verification Experience supporting automated dispensing cabinets barcode labeling and packaging systems Knowledge of USP 795 USP 797 USP 800 ISBT-128 DEA and medication safety standards Experience managing drug libraries formulary updates and EMR/Pharmacy interfaces Strong troubleshooting and production support experience Experience integrating pharmacy systems with enterprise applications Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements Preferred Applications Experience: AutoPharm Connect-Rx MedNet Spectrum IQ Similar pharmacy applications Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
