Senior Windchill Platform Developer

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Windchill Platform Developer to lead the development, customization, automation, and integration of the enterprise PTC Windchill PLM platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windchill platform engineering, Java development, enterprise integrations, and cloud-native technologies. The role also requires exposure to Agentic AI concepts and AI-enabled automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and customize the PTC Windchill platform to meet business requirements. Develop and enhance Windchill workflows, listeners, Object Initialization Rules (OIRs), InfoEngine tasks, and custom APIs. Build and maintain enterprise integrations between Windchill and external business applications. Develop scalable automation solutions to improve platform operations and reduce manual effort. Design and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions for the Windchill platform. Work with Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support deployment and platform modernization. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define technical solutions and integration architecture. Optimize platform performance, troubleshoot production issues, and drive technical debt reduction initiatives. Implement best practices for platform engineering, operational excellence, and production support. Explore and contribute to AI-enabled automation and Agentic AI initiatives within the PLM ecosystem. Must Have Skills 8+ years of hands-on experience in PTC Windchill Platform Development. Strong expertise in Java and Windchill API development. Experience with: Windchill Workflows Listeners Object Initialization Rules (OIRs) InfoEngine Windchill Customization Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes. Experience with Grafana for monitoring and observability. Experience using PagerDuty for incident management. Experience integrating Windchill with enterprise applications and cloud platforms. Strong understanding of platform engineering, production support, and performance optimization. Ability to prepare Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and integration architecture. Good to Have Experience with Databricks. Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices. Experience with AI-enabled automation. Exposure to Agentic AI , AI Agents, or intelligent workflow automation. Knowledge of DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code.
