Infrastructure Engineer

Hands-on experience with GCP services: Computer Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, GKE, IAM Exposure to GCP PaaS services and cloud-native architectures Hands-on experience with IBM Cloud IaaS services: Virtual Servers (VSI), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) infrastructure, and Load Balancers IBM Cloud Object Storage (COS), Block Storage, and Security Groups / Network ACLs VPN Gateway and basic connectivity services (VCN Peering, FastConnect basic understanding) IBM Cloud Monitoring (Sysdig), Log Analysis, Backup, and Disaster Recovery operations Familiarity with container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes Experience using monitoring and incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for ticket handling and issue tracking. Working knowledge of IBM Cloud IaaS environments, including: Understanding of multi-tier infrastructure concepts Basic knowledge of High Availability (Availability Domains/Fault Domains) and Disaster Recovery (DR) practices Awareness of network segmentation using VCNs, subnets, and security controls (Security Lists, NSGs) Familiarity with hybrid cloud connectivity setups Understanding of scalability and fault-tolerant systems in IBM Cloud. Preferences: - IBM and/or GCP cloud certifications preferred Experience working in enterprise or global cloud operations environments Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices Good communication and stakeholder management Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Our Public Cloud Manage services help streamline operations, improve productivity and strengthen technology to help our customers stay competitive and improve customer satisfaction. In these roles you will be responsible for: Support and maintain IBM Cloud IaaS infrastructure including Virtual Servers, VPC, networking, storage, security, and load balancing services. Assist in administering and maintaining GCP infrastructure and platform services. Monitor cloud infrastructure (IBM Cloud GCP) for health, performance, availability, and capacity, and escalate issues as required. Perform initial troubleshooting of production incidents in IBM Cloud environments and assist in root cause analysis. Execute automation scripts for provisioning, deployment, patching, and routine operational tasks across IBM Cloud and GCP. Support high availability, backup, and disaster recovery activities in IBM Cloud as per defined procedures. Assist in implementing and maintaining IBM Cloud security policies, IAM controls, and compliance standards. Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve cloud operational issues. Monitor and report on cloud resource utilization and assist in cost optimization efforts across IBM Cloud and GCP Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and update technical records.
