About the role
Key Responsibilities of Packaging material testing: Material Testing & Validation Conduct mechanical, chemical, and environmental tests on packaging materials. Evaluate strength, durability, and resistance to stress, moisture, and temperature variations. Compliance & Standards Ensure packaging meets ISO, ASTM, FDA, and other regulatory requirements. Prepare documentation and reports for audits and certifications. Quality Assurance Identify defects, weaknesses, and risks in packaging materials. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with product design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. Provide technical input during packaging development stages. Continuous Improvement Research new testing methodologies and industry innovations. Implement best practices to enhance packaging performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Experience with packaging test methods (drop test, compression, vibration, leak detection, etc.). Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Desired Skills Familiarity with laboratory equipment and testing software. Understanding of sustainability practices in packaging. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
