As a Behavioral Research / Behavioral Science professional transitioning into a Product Design / UX / Experience Design role, your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting primary and secondary research using methods such as interviews, ethnographic studies, surveys, observational research, and behavioral experiments - Applying research insights directly in designing product features, user journeys, or experiences - Translating behavioral insights into product/design decisions to improve user flows, engagement, retention, or conversion - Working on the end-to-end product/design lifecycle from research to insights to ideation to wireframing/prototyping to testing - Participating in usability testing, concept validation, A/B testing, or behavioral experimentation as part of the product/design process Your qualifications should include: - 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Research / Consumer Behavior / Behavioral Science / Market Research, followed by hands-on experience in Product Design / UX Design / Interaction Design - Strong foundation in primary & secondary research methods - Demonstrated experience in applying behavioral insights in product/design decisions - Exposure to usability testing, concept validation, A/B testing, or behavioral experimentation - Strong understanding of Behavioral Science principles and hands-on experience with design tools or workflows - Basic understanding of UI/UX and digital product journeys Additionally, the ideal candidate would have a background in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Ethnography, Cognitive Science, or related fields (BA/MA/MSc/BSc). Candidates from B2C consumer product organizations where user behavior is closely tracked and analyzed, such as consumer tech, fintech, e-commerce, or digital platforms, would be preferred.
