About the role
As a DevOps Release Manager at Standard Chartered Bank, your role involves the following key responsibilities: - Strategy Release Planning and Coordination: - Create a comprehensive release plan with scope, timeline, and dependencies. - Develop and maintain the release management process, coordinating all aspects of the release lifecycle. - Business Effective Communication: - Support training and communication for change management. - Design or deliver specialized training resources to appropriate stakeholders. - Processes Ownership: - Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams for proper testing, documentation, and scheduling. - Lead and coordinate Go-Live activities including deployment execution. - Risk Management Proficiency: - Utilize methods and techniques for assessing and managing business risk. - Ensure compliance with risk management and compliance practices. - Governance: - Act as the process owner for change management. - Lead assessment and analysis of change requests and communicate updates throughout the Salesforce release process.
