About the role
Role Overview: As the Product Owner for FCSO Data Products within Standard Chartered Bank, you will play a crucial role in driving the product strategy and ownership. Your responsibilities include defining and owning the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for FCSO Data Products, prioritizing features to enhance data availability, and ensuring alignment with FCSO strategy, regulatory obligations, and risk mitigation goals. Collaboration with stakeholders is key in this role, as you will work closely with FCSO operations teams, compliance, Risk, Tech, and senior management to capture data and reporting requirements. Acting as the main liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, you will gather feedback and continuously iterate on product features. In terms of delivery management, you will be responsible for owning the delivery lifecycle of data products, including requirement gathering, user stories, grooming, acceptance criteria, UAT coordination, and release. It is imperative to ensure appropriate documentation, lineage, and governance of FCSO data while tracking and measuring product outcomes. Furthermore, you will oversee data governance and compliance to ensure adherence to internal governance policies, confidentiality standards, and external regulatory requirements. Collaboration with data governance and controls teams will be necessary to maintain strong data quality and traceability. Your role will also involve displaying exemplary conduct in line with the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank is essential. Effectively identifying, escalating, mitigating, and resolving risk, conduct, and compliance matters will be part of your regulatory and business conduct responsibilities.
