As a Senior Java Developer in the Equity Derivatives Marketdata & Pricing Platform team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our ETD capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with devops and the wider team to effectively manage resource usage - Applying your expertise in financial markets electronic trade capture, booking, and full lifecycle to integrate these features into our platform - Adhering to Financial Markets specifications and regulations to ensure the use of best-in-class technology within approved boundaries - Developing services with an API-first approach and a generic pattern mindset for scalability across multiple dimensions - Implementing safe defensive coding, intelligent design, access control, and low-maintenance supportable applications - Supporting database integration/migration, caching, communication, and security aspects Your qualifications and experience should ideally include: - Minimum 8+ years of strong backend Java experience - Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency frameworks - Sound technical understanding of Micro Services, REST API, XML, and MQ - Experience with Messaging systems like Kafka, distributed caching systems like Hazelcast, and NoSQL systems like Cassandra - Familiarity with Financial Markets Front Office Trade lifecycle - Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing, and delivery processes - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science About the company: For over 170 years, our company has been committed to making a positive impact for our clients, communities, and employees.
