Job Description: Role Overview: You will be accountable for tactical and operational support for production services across one or more areas of specific platform/domain. Your responsibilities will include ensuring maximum service quality and stability through fast and effective response to technical incidents. You will also be a catalyst for change by analyzing and identifying continual service improvement opportunities. Depending on your technical specialization, you may be involved in incident resolution and prevention, as well as ensuring that new changes to the technology estate do not introduce instability. Key Responsibilities: - Manage technical resumption of high priority, S@R, medium/high severity incidents - Provide root cause analysis for S@R, medium/high severity issues - Direct second and third level of support for problem diagnosis and resolution - Manage production-related changes, releases, and rollouts with minimal impact to stability - Create and update Production Support documentation and contingency (DR/BCP) documentation - Provide inputs for monthly dashboard on incident and problem trends Qualifications: - Minimum 7+ years of experience in application Production support responsibilities and stability as part of SRE - Proficiency in JAVA, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate - Experience with databases such as DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL - Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, AWS - Must have skills in Tomcat/JBoss, Elasticsearch, and Grafana - Experience with AI tools like GitHub Co-Pilot - Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night shift (247 support) Additional Details of the Company: Standard Chartered is an international bank that has been making a positive impact for over 170 years.
