Civil Designer or Civil EIT

Your Capabilities and Credentials Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience in land development, utility, and roadway design. Thorough understanding of civil engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others. Strong oral and written communication skills. Self-starter who can work independently and with a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Knowledge and experience with local agency and industry applicable codes. General understanding of project document production Strong knowledge of civil systems and industry standards. Ability to effectively discuss project issues with a multi-disciplinary team and clients with varied knowledge of the development process. Possesses excellent time-management skills. Thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting, and efficient use of time and resources. Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule. Education and Experience Civil Designer – Minimum of 5 years’ experience with AutoCAD and development plan design. EIT - Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree, Engineer in Training Certification, and CAD experience. A local project resume and experience strongly preferred. Experience in site and roadway, drainage, grading, erosion and sediment control, and utility design is considered an asset.
