Electrical Designer- Substation Physical Layout

As a design and drafting professional in the field of Electrical Engineering, your role will involve reviewing input from clients to understand the scope of work and plan accordingly while maintaining the design intent. Your responsibilities will include: - Having a good understanding of Vendor submittal drawings - Preparing Substation Single Line Diagrams & Operating Diagrams - Creating Electrical Layouts Plan & Sections / Overall layouts - Designing Control Building / GIS Building Layouts - Developing Cable tray and trenches layouts Plan & Details for Trench & Conduits - Drafting Lighting Layouts and Lighting Scheme drawings - Designing Grounding/Earthing layouts and Details for Complete Equipment and Buildings - Creating Lightning Protection Layouts and Details - Preparing Auxiliary Single Line Diagram for AC/DC Systems - Visualizing and producing clash-free 3D models using tools like Navisworks/Revit - Coordinating with other disciplines designers and engineers - Collaborating with BIM/CAD Lead on project requirements - Demonstrating strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently - Possessing good oral and written communication skills - Committing to safe work practices - Being a good team player - Providing input into projects with minimal supervision - Generating Bill of Material for Complete Air Insulated Substation(AIS) & Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) Qualifications and Experience required for this role include: - Diploma in Electrical Engineering & Designer - 4-7 years of experience for Diploma holders - Electrical Computer Aided Design experience on Substation (AIS & GIS) Voltage Level from 11Kv to 800kV - 2D and 3D Modelling and design experience using software applications such as Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, and Autodesk Navisworks (additional advantage) Preferred Skills: - Autocad - Revit - Electrical Designer - Bentley Microstation This opportunity will allow you to showcase your expertise in design and drafting while contributing to the successful completion of various projects in the field of Electrical Engineering.
