About the role
Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Stantec is a global engineering consulting firm dedicated to creating sustainable and innovative solutions. We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) to join our Edmonton team and help deliver impactful projects in our community.
The successful candidate will work closely with a local team of 30 geotechnical professionals based out of Edmonton, supported by a wider, regional team of over 200 geotechnical professionals.
Your Opportunity

Client Engagement: Build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
Lead and Deliver Projects: Manage and execute small to mid-sized geotechnical projects from proposal through completion, including planning, analysis, reporting, and client communication.
Technical Leadership: Apply your expertise to complex analyses, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Team Management: Lead and coordinate small project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the advancement of our technical capabilities.
