About the role
Hydrogeological Assessment & Modelling Develop conceptual and numerical groundwater models (MODFLOW, FEFLOW). Characterize aquifer parameters, recharge, seepage, and groundwater–surface water interaction. Support contaminated sites assessments including fate and transport, plume delineation, risk evaluations and remediation. Support hydrogeological components of Environmental Impact Assessments (CEAA, provincial EAs). Prepare permit and licensing submissions for water wells, water takings, dewatering, and groundwater protection under provincial regulations (MECP, AEP, BCEAA, etc.). Support infrastructure, mining, renewable energy, water supply, and land development projects. Prepare clear, concise technical reports, groundwater monitoring summaries, and modelling documentation. Create maps, cross-sections, and figures using ArcGIS/QGIS Present findings to senior technical reviewers, clients, and regulatory stakeholders.
