Intermediate CAD Technician

Your Capabilities and Credentials Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality drafting work Consistent attention to detail Thorough understanding of civil drafting and design documentation, with the ability to build surfaces, profiles, and cross-sections Familiarity with river works, coastal and shoreline infrastructure, stormwater and municipal drainage, and mining/water management projects Proficiency in preparing drawings for water resources, hydrotechnical, drainage, or civil infrastructure projects Basic understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage principles. Good verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities ArcGIS experience is an asset Proficiency in HEC-RAS mapping is an asset Education and Experience Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar OACETT certification (C.Tech. or C.E.T.) is an asset Minimum 5 years of relevant drafting and design experience with regular use of Civil 3D Proficiency in Civil 3D corridor modeling supporting grading, drainage, linear infrastructure, and water resources design drawings Experience in a consulting environment is preferred Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
