Your Capabilities and Credentials
Independently motivated, innovative, and enjoys collaborating with a team
Strong technical skill set
Proficient user of geotechnical software applications
Able to engage in creative and critical thought within a project team setting
Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Bilingual communication skills are considered an asset
Valid Driver’s License
Education and Experience
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in civil/ geotechnical engineering from a recognized university, and a postgraduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum of 4 years of experience in geotechnical consulting is required
Professional Engineer in good standing with a provincial association or the ability to obtain the professional designation
Experience with rock mechanics, mining, tunnelling, and numerical modelling is considered an asset
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
