About the role
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Design experience in lighting design, energy code compliance, lighting/power circuiting design, renewable energy, emergency power systems, communications systems, fire alarm systems, intelligent transportation system, construction cost estimating and specification writing.
Thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry.
Thorough knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards.
Must have in depth knowledge of general transportation, buildings, community development or power construction.
Previous experience working with various transportation authorities such as NJTA, NJDOT, NYCDOT, NYSDOT or the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, AGI32, Visual Lighting Software.
LC is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Education and Experience
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum of 8+ years of related industry experience.
PE license required, NY or NJ preferred.
