Senior GIS Developer (Pune)

Description Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Platform Developer to design, develop, and support Field Data Collection (FDC) solutions for a large, globally distributed Environmental Services business. The role involves building scalable, userfriendly digital forms, workflows, and reporting solutions using ESRI ArcGIS platforms and Microsoft Power Platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads and developers to translate requirements into reliable production solutions. This position requires robust handson technical expertise, ownership mindset, and the ability to support solutions endtoendfrom design to deployment and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities Development & Delivery - Design and develop Field Data Collection (FDC) forms and workflows, converting paperbased or legacy digital processes into modern solutions. - Build and enhance applications using: - ESRI ArcGIS Online (AGOL) - Survey123, Field Maps, Workforce, Experience Builder - Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) - Develop reusable components and standards to support scalability and consistency. - Integrate multiple data sources, including SharePoint, databases, and external systems. Technical Ownership - Independently handle solution lifecycle activities: development, testing, deployment, and production support. - Review code and configurations developed by junior team members and provide technical guidance. - Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards. - Adhere strictly to organizational data security and compliance requirements. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Engage with business stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate them into technical solutions. - Work closely with global teams and align deliverables across time zones. - Proactively communicate risks, issues, and resolution plans.
