About the role
Communities across the Pacific Northwest rely on resilient, well‑designed water infrastructure, and that work has never been more critical. At Stantec, our Water structural engineers take on complex, high‑impact challenges: seismic‑resilient treatment facilities, large-scale concrete structures, and infrastructure that protects public health for generations.
Join a collaborative, technically strong team where your expertise shapes projects, standards, and future leaders.

-
Perform and oversee conceptual through detailed structural design, including analysis, calculations, drawings, and specifications

-
Collaborate with civil, mechanical, process, and construction teams to deliver coordinated solutions
-
Review and guide structural work produced by other engineers and designers
-
Provide construction support, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and structural observations
-
Mentor and support junior engineers, helping grow technical capability across the team
-
Contribute to the development of structural standards, tools, and best practices
