Your Capabilities and Credentials Licensed Professional Engineer with license in the State of CT Proficiency in STAAD, CSI, SAP, AASHTOWare BrR and other structural analysis and design software Ability to develop drawings using AutoCAD and Open Bridge Modeler, including conformance to CTDOT Digital Design Environment Understanding of design codes and agency standards such as AASHTO, ASCE, AISC and ACI.. Strong oral and written communication skills Strong leadership and team building skills, which are essential to meet the expectations of this challenging position Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent, Graduate Degree highly desired. Minimum 5 years of experience in the structural design and analysis of bridges and other transportation structures. Professional Engineer in Connecticut required Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work depending on project needs.
