Your Opportunity
Stantec’s Mining, Minerals and Metals Practice is seeking an Underground Mining Engineer interested in joining an established team of industry leaders in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, or Reno. Remote work may be considered. The successful candidate will support global mining projects and help our clients unlock potential by engineering safe, innovative, and sustainable solutions to complex challenges. Your Key Responsibilities
Participate the development of underground mining studies ranging in level of detail
Provide expert mine planning support using your operations experience and Deswik Mine Planning software
Support due diligence and technical audits
Act as peer reviewer of drawings, specifications, mine planning, and technical reports
Support the development of capital and operating cost estimates
Lead project teams performing trade-off and optimization studies including but not limited to mine access, material handling, ventilation, and mining methods
Domestic and International travel with the possibility of extended stays may be required.
