Data Engineer

The Data Engineer will lead data efforts at Stark Inc and help develop data architecture, data pipelines, and data models to support the company s business objectives The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced and knowledgeable data engineer with an outstanding understanding of data architecture, Big Data technology, and end-to-end data-processing systems The Data Engineer will create and maintain the data pipelines to ingest, process, transform, and store data, develop and maintain metadata, and deploy data in production applications The Data Engineer will also contribute to the design, implementation and optimization of data models and architectures in support of data-driven applications and analytics Finally, the Data Engineer will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, product owners, stakeholders, and customers to ensure data-driven solutions are built and deployed to meet business requirements Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Design, build, and maintain Data Engineering solutions that allow companies to effectively analyze large data sets. 2. Develop and document ETL processes and data engineering workflows. 3. Develop high-performance database models and related programming code, and apply machine learning algorithms to optimize data storage and analysis. 4. Interact closely with data scientists and other data professionals to interpret data models and algorithms. 5. Create, monitor, and optimize data processing systems that enable scalable decision-making and reporting. 6. Develop and implement new methods for data acquisition and transformation. 7. Ensure that data engineering processes comply with company standards and meet legal and security requirements. 8. Research and identify opportunities for data re-use and improvement. 9. Provide technical guidance and training to developers and data analysts. 10. Monitor and troubleshoot critical system issues related to data analysis and engineering.
