Job Title: Automation Technician III

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician III to support and maintain automation systems in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA/HMI systems, instrumentation, and process automation while ensuring reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and support PLC, SCADA, HMI, and automation control systems.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment.

Support system upgrades, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities.

Assist with change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and documentation.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, and Quality teams.

Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and company quality standards.

Required Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field.

5+ years of automation or controls experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.

Hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), SCADA/HMI, instrumentation, and industrial control systems .

Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and utilities.

Strong understanding of GMP, change control, and validation practices .
