Job Title : Data Validation Analysts

Location : Portland, OR

Duration : Long Term

Responsibilities

We have 2 positions open for Data Validation Analysts for the X1 project. The primary role for these folks to ensure that data flow and data accuracy within all the systems are matching, consistent and accurate. This person would understand the functionality and the flow and then validate the same within various systems (Eg: Demand sales in SFCC matches Demand sales in Adobe analytics matches Demand sales in the data lake)

Ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the end-to-end process from data creation to report output

Must be adaptable and able to navigate across different systems with varying nuances

Be familiar with back end processes and data flows in order to confirm and validate expected outputs are represented across all systems

Clear communication and understanding of where data deviates between systems and how to triage failing systemic flows

Must be familiar with E-Commerce business needs, terminology and KPIs and how they are calculated: Demand, Shipped, Traffic, Conversion, etc

Must be extremely detail-oriented and thorough when testing and confirming the accuracy of data per success criteria

Track and document all test cases, risks, observations, anomalies, passes/failures as it pertains to data validation for the project

Ability to effectively troubleshoot data inaccuracies, identify root causes, and communicate actions

Must have a big-picture mentality to connect all of the dots between systems and teams

Advanced analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as this role will be working across various teams
