Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC/Utilities Engineer to support facility infrastructure, focusing on HVAC and utility systems. The role involves both hands-on troubleshooting and participation in capital improvement projects.
Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC control systems, alarms, and utilities

Troubleshoot pneumatic actuators, steam systems, and HVAC alarms to ensure reliable operation

Respond promptly to system failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime

Support upgrades of HVAC control units and steam systems, including installation and integration
-
Assist with facility infrastructure improvements and capital projects

Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to enhance system performance

Provide technical support for control system modifications and commissioning

Work directly in the field to address control system issues (not limited to reviewing drawings)

Ensure compliance with industry standards and facility safety protocols

Document troubleshooting activities, system upgrades, and modifications
Qualifications

Proven experience with HVAC utilities, control units, and steam system upgrades

Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC alarms and automation components

Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system efficiency

Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with engineering teams and facility staff
