About the role
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – X-Ray Tubes Location: Onsite, Milwaukee, Wisconsin (From Day One)
Introduction:
We are actively involved in the design, development, and manufacturing of high-voltage, high-frequency generators and X-ray tubes—critical components in advanced diagnostic systems. Our product portfolio includes generators and X-ray tubes ranging from 40kV to 160kV, with peak power outputs between 2kW and 100kW. These systems operate at high switching frequencies and utilize the latest technologies in power converters and X-ray tube design.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in designing solid-lubricated bearings for use in extreme conditions such as high vacuum, elevated temperatures, and high G-load environments. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of cageless, thermally compensated bearing designs.
Required Experience and Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience involving the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
Proficiency with laboratory tools and hands-on experience in building prototype fixtures.
Strong background in engineering analysis using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
Proficiency with Creo or similar CAD tools.
Ability to follow detailed and complex procedures accurately.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Primarily a first-shift role onsite in Milwaukee, WI; flexibility to work second shift as needed.
