Process engineer

Title: Process Engineer Location: Framingham, MA (Hybrid Role) Duration: 2 Years

Must-Have Qualifications:

Extensive experience with tablet, ointment, and liquid dosage forms used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Proven Subject Matter Expert (SME) in technical investigations.

Knowledge of product serialization is preferred.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly in solid, semi-solid, and liquid dosage forms. The ideal candidate will provide high-level technical support to manufacturing and quality operations, drive process improvements, and serve as a technical SME for complex investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support manufacturing and quality operations by providing technical assistance for process troubleshooting .

Act as SME for investigations , offering expert analysis and recommendations.

Utilize strong analytical and root cause analysis skills within cross-functional teams.

Contribute to the identification and justification of critical process parameters .

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and validation studies .

Plan and execute engineering, investigational, definition, and process validation runs .

Document and interpret study results , providing data-driven recommendations.

Ensure the commercialization of robust, compliant, and efficient processes and test methods .

Apply engineering principles and process control strategies for optimal outcomes.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering .

Candidates with an Advanced Science Degree and 10+ years of experience in large-scale process equipment design, scale-up, implementation, and validation are strongly preferred.

Minimum of 4–8 years of relevant experience required.
