About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven QC Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for implementing and managing quality control systems to ensure the consistent production of advanced composite materials that meet established standards, customer requirements, and production goals. This is a hands-on position where your expertise will directly contribute to productivity, process improvements, and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of materials and products.
Create sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording and reporting quality and reliability data.
Establish programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment, testing tools, and analytical facilities.
Devise methods for handling discrepant material and assess cost/responsibility for defects.
Supervise and guide staff involved in measuring, testing, and documenting product quality.
Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control practices.
Support broader Quality Assurance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Apply Total Quality Management (TQM) tools to enhance reporting and analysis across departments.
Develop and maintain inspection criteria, quality documentation, and procedures.
Communicate quality control policies and practices to key personnel within the organization.
Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred, but not required.

Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in the manufacturing industry.

Strong background in quality assurance program implementation.

Solid knowledge of testing methods, defect management, and version control practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.

Strong understanding of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
