Job Title: Sr Network Security Engineer

Location: Washington, D.C

Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

Provide security architecture design, consulting, implementation, and maintenance of client security platforms.

Implement baseline security controls across all network security platforms, including security risk and vulnerability and remediation.

Provide guidance, support, and drive security infrastructure projects, in collaboration with technical & client stakeholders

Work in collaboration with network security technical team members for the execution of daily operational and project deliverables for incidents, requests, and changes in the environment.

Implement and maintain monitoring, reporting controls for all platform devices.

Proactive performance, analysis and provide recommendations for improvements

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, and technical diagrams for network security infrastructure.

Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery procedures for the network security critical platform systems.

Develop, update, and report performance metrics and status on security compliance.

Automate operational and reporting processes and data aggregation where appropriate.

Track and correct any applicable information security deficiencies, conditions, weaknesses, findings, and gaps identified by audits, reviews, security control assessments, and tests,

Engage in ongoing research of emerging trends and new technologies which may benefit the overall business and information security strategic plan.

Conduct in-depth technical reviews of new and existing IT systems in order to identify the appropriate mitigation strategies required to bring these systems into compliance with established policy and industry guidelines.
