Role Overview We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and programming skills, with hands-on experience in database testing and Unix environments. Exposure to contemporary automation tools and cloud platforms is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright Develop automated test suites covering:FunctionalRegressionAPIEnd-to-End scenarios Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into automation solutions Perform test planning, execution, and defect tracking activities Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) for automation integration Validate data integrity by performing database testing using SQL queries Execute tests in Unix/Linux environments and support deployment validations Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes Required Skills & Qualifications 410 years of experience in QA automation Robust hands-on experience with:Selenium and any other automation toolJava programmingAgile/Scrum methodologies Good understanding of:Automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, BDD/Cucumber preferred)SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Strong SQL expertise (mandatory) Solid foundation in:OOP principlesData structures & algorithmsDesign patterns for automation frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with database testing (SQL) Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and settings Experience with version control tools like Git Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.) Good to Have Skills Exposure to modern automation tools such as Playw .
