As an Analytics Engineer at State Street, you will play a crucial role in the Corporate Audit Data Services team by transforming raw data into clean, organized, and accessible datasets to create compelling narratives backed by insights. This role will be based in Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore, India, and can be performed in a hybrid model allowing you to balance work from home and office according to your needs and role requirements. Role Overview: You will design and develop comprehensive analytics solutions and interactive dashboards, leveraging advanced engineering and analytics skills. Your responsibilities will include combining and analyzing multiple datasets using Python and SQL, preparing high-quality reports for the Audit Committee and senior management, and acting as a subject matter expert in improving reporting processes through data engineering and automation. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop analytics solutions and interactive dashboards - Combine and analyze multiple datasets using Python and SQL - Prepare high-quality reports for senior management - Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes - Streamline MI reporting cycles and reduce manual effort - Establish data validation frameworks and monitoring systems - Drive stakeholder engagements and collaborate with cross-functional teams - Research and implement advanced analytics techniques Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative finance field - 10 - 14 years of experience in a data engineering/analytics role - Proven experience in developing automated reports and visualizations using SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, and Tableau - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and programming - Experience with Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Apps - Advanced command of English with strong communication and presentation skills If you are a curious and analytical individual with a proven track record in data engineering and analytics, and you are looking to make a significant impact in the financial services industry, this opportunity at State Street could be the right fit for you.
