Principal Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Charles River Development, you will play a vital role in the Core Services department by contributing to the enhancement and maintenance of Charles River Investment Management Solution modules. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Business Analysts and Product Managers to design and develop software solutions, conducting manual tests, and providing assistance to customer support teams and other development teams within the company. You will also be involved in the agile software development process and adhere to the CRD scrum methodology. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug software enhancements within Charles Rivers business and technical domains - Collaborate with stakeholders to create sustainable software solutions with high complexity and low latency - Direct problem solving for projects to resolve advanced technical issues - Develop and implement software using cloud computing, java, React, JavaScript, GenAI, and other related languages - Write unit and automation tests to ensure product quality - Identify and implement improvements in test methodologies - Conduct manual tests to ensure high-quality deliverables - Assist in the agile software development process by following the CRD scrum methodology Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Software Engineering best practices, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles - Experience in cloud native technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP - Proficiency in Internet Protocols (HTTP), Front-end frameworks like React, HTML5, JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery - Familiarity with API styles like REST, RPC, gRPC, or OpenAPI - Knowledge of development tools like Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ - Experience in core Java concepts like Multithreading, Exception Handling, Memory management - Proficient in SQL and Oracle - Problem-solving abilities in developing high-performance database applications - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Additional Details about the Company: Charles River Investment Management System is a platform that offers various Front-Office functions including Portfolio Management, Order Management, Compliance, Performance & Attribution, and Wealth Management.
