About the role
As a Principal Solution Architect at our company, you will be a key member of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the overall architecture of complex software solutions to meet our clients' business needs. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives and technology standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end solutions, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. - Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and design patterns. - Define and enforce architecture standards, policies, and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality across projects. - Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Identify potential risks and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and propose mitigation strategies. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience of 5 years as a Solution Architect or similar role with a strong background in software development and architecture. - 16 years of total IT experience. - Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and highly available enterprise solutions. - Proficiency in architectural modeling tools and techniques such as UML. - In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture) and integration patterns (e.g., RESTful APIs, messaging queues). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
