BI Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience in data warehousing, ETL development, data modeling, reporting, and visualization tools. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards. Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes. Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and maintain reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. Perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams. Monitor report performance and implement improvements as needed. Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing BI solutions. Prepare technical documentation and user guides. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field. 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development. Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.). Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. Knowledge of data visualization best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud data platforms. Knowledge of Python, R, or other data analysis languages. Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Big Data technologies. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
