About the role
Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using SSIS or Datastage . Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction and transformation. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs for performance and reliability. Document ETL processes, workflows, and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years of experience in ETL development . Strong proficiency in T-SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures). Hands-on experience with SSIS or IBM Datastage . Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, relational databases, and data modeling . Experience with performance optimization and error handling in ETL processes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
