Performance Test Engineer

Performance Test Engineer 6 to 8 Years Bangalore / Gurgaon Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in JMeter and LoadRunner to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in performance testing, workload modelling, test execution, performance analysis, and bottleneck identification across enterprise applications. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application scalability, stability, and performance while collaborating with development, infrastructure, and business teams. Key Responsibilities Analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and define performance test strategies. Design and develop performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner . Develop workload models and performance test scenarios. Execute Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike, and Volume tests. Monitor application and infrastructure performance during test execution. Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to drive performance improvements. Prepare detailed performance testing reports and recommendations. Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams. Ensure applications meet defined SLAs and performance benchmarks. Mandatory Skills 6 to 8 years of IT experience with strong experience in Performance Testing. Hands-on experience in: Apache JMeter LoadRunner Strong understanding of: Load Testing Stress Testing Endurance Testing Volume Testing Performance Engineering Concepts Experience in: Script Development Correlation Parameterization Test Execution Results Analysis Reporting Experience with API and Web Application Performance Testing. Preferred Skills Experience with monitoring tools such as: Dynatrace AppDynamics Grafana Splunk PerfMon Knowledge of: Workload Modelling Capacity Planning Performance Tuning Root Cause Analysis Exposure to: Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) Kubernetes/OpenShift CI/CD Pipelines Domain Experience Preferred (Good to Have): Healthcare Domain Other Relevant Domains: Banking / Financial Services Retail E-Commerce Required Competencies Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and drive performance testing activities end-to-end. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice to Have Performance Center experience. Experience with enterprise-scale applications. Knowledge of database performance analysis. Experience in API performance validation.
