About the role
As an experienced data scientist, your role will involve performing advanced statistical analysis and developing machine learning models in collaboration with analytics teams. You will work closely with data engineers and senior data scientists to interface with clients and drive end-to-end model implementation of analytics solutions. Your focus will be on addressing analytics challenges in heavy manufacturing, including optimizing processes and predictive maintenance. Key responsibilities include: - Performing advanced statistical analysis - Developing machine learning models - Collaborating with analytics teams - Interfacing with clients - Driving end-to-end model implementation - Enhancing efficiency, streamlining processes, and lowering costs - Addressing analytics challenges in heavy manufacturing - Optimizing processes and predictive maintenance Qualifications required: - Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in analytics roles - Direct involvement in Manufacturing/ associated domains is a plus - Experience in building and deploying data science models (e.g., Random Forest, Clustering, K-means etc.) - Strong command of Python is essential; knowledge of SQL is highly preferred - Experience working with large database systems such as MS SQL Server, or Oracle is valued - Intellectual curiosity, problem-solving, and quantitative skills are musts - Strong people skills, team-orientation, and a professional attitude are musts Your educational background should include: - Bachelor's degree in quantitative field like Computer Science/ Engineering/ Statistics/ Data Science or related field required - Advanced degree/ diploma in Data Science is a plus As an experienced data scientist, your role will involve performing advanced statistical analysis and developing machine learning models in collaboration with analytics teams.
